Objective: To relate chemistry to every day matters

  1. CHE 170-C781 - General College Chemistry I. Fall Semester. 2 lectures per week. 3 credits. Prerequisites: 20 ACT Science Score, High School Chemistry, CHE 130 or CHE 140, MT 120 or higher.
  2. CHE 173-C781 - College Chemistry I Workshop. Fall Semester. 1 lecture per week. 1 credit. Prerequisites: CHE 170 currently enrolled.
  3. CHE 175-C781 - College Chemistry I Laboratory. Fall Semester. 1 laboratory per week. 2 credits. Prerequisites:
    CHE 170, CHE 173 currently enrolled.
  4. CHE 180-C781 - General College Chemistry II. Spring Semester. 2 lectures per week. 3 credits. Prerequisites: MT 150, CHE 170, CHE 173, CHE 175.
  5. CHE 183-C781 - College Chemistry II Workshop. Spring Semester. 1 lecture per week. 1 credit. Prerequisites: CHE 180, currently enrolled.
  6. CHE 185-C781 - College Chemistry II Laboratory. Spring Semester. 1 laboratory per week. 1 credit. Prerequisites: CHE 180, CHE 183, currently enrolled.
  7. CHE 270-C781 - Organic Chemistry I. Fall Semester. 2 lectures per week. 2 credits. Prerequisites: CHE 170, CHE 173, CHE 175, CHE 180, CHE 183, CHE 185.
  8. CHE 275-C781 - Organic Chemistry I Laboratory. Fall Semester. 2 laboratory periods per week. 2 credits. Prerequisites: CHE 270, currently enrolled.
  9. CHE 280-C781 - Organic Chemistry II. Spring Semester. 2 lectures per week. 3 credits. Prerequisites: CHE 170, CHE 275.
  10. CHE 285-C781 - Organic Chemistry II Laboratory. Spring Semester. 2 laboratory periods per week. 2 credits. Prerequisites: CHE 280, currently enrolled.
  11. CHE 140-C781 - Introductory General Chemistry. Fall and Spring Semesters. 2 classes per week. 3 credits. Prerequisites: MT 065.
  12. CHE 145-C781 - Introductory General Chemistry Laboratory.  Fall and Spring semesters.  1 laboratory per week. 1 credit.  Prerequisites: CHE 140, currently enrolled.
  13. CHM 150 -C781 - Introductory Organic and Biochemistry.  Spring Semester. 2 classes per week.  1 laboratory per week. 4 credits.  Prerequisites:  CHE 140, CHE 145.
  14. CHE 170, CHE 173, CHE 175, CHE 180, CHE 185, CHE 270, CHE 275, CHE 280, CHE 285 satisfy transfer requirements for medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, physical therapy assistant, optometry, physician assistant and veterinary. CHE 140, CHE 145, CHE 150 fulfill requirements for CLT program and transfer as laboratory science credits.
